The inaugural conference for clinical officers from the larger eastern Africa region is all set for Zanzibar City of the United Republic of Tanzania.The conference brings together more than 700 Clinical officers from the region that has more than 100,000 Clinical officers .

The theme of the conference is "Maximising the impact of Clinical Officers in achieving UHC in the East Africa region"The Key note Speaker will be Prof Kate Straughton , The Programme Director of the Physician Associate ,University of BirminghamThe Chief Guest will be H.E Hussein Mwinyi, President of ZanzibarThe venue for the Conference is at the Dr Mohammed Shein Auditorium within the State University of Zanzibar , Tunguu
