Bringing together members of Clinical officers, Physician Assistants, Clinical Associates, Health Officers and Medical Assistants globally to improve healthcare and welfare. The Association gives Health Professionals opportunity to share, consult and negotiation power.
- To unite members of all cadres and qualifications.
- To provide means for co-operation among members and the expression of their collective opinions, views and decisions upon matters affecting the interest of health care.
- To actively engage all stakeholders on any policy issues touching on the delivery of healthcare services and to promote the principles of equity, professionalism and meritocracies.
Professionals from Kenya Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, South Africa, USA, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Rwanda together with representatives from WHO, ILO and governments attended conference in Ghana whose climax was the ushering in of the new leadership of the association which will champion for the rights of this neglected cadre.
GACOPA Outstanding Clinician Award
The Global Association of Clinical Officers and Physician Associates will on its 2nd international delegates and scientific conference in Rwanda award the outstanding clinical practitioner. Kigali Rwanda March 2020.
Qualified members for the award can apply by sending their profiles on their work stating their full names, country and cadre to firstname.lastname@example.org The winner will be notified on on 1st February 2020 and be awarded on 6th March, 2020.
