The Kenya Union of Clinical Officers, led by Chairman Peterson Wachira, General Secretary George Gibore, and Deputy Austin Oduor, has joined hands with fellow health workers, regulatory bodies, and the Ministry of Health during the official opening of the East Africa Harmonization Workshop.

A key milestone in the workshop was the signing of the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), aimed at facilitating the free movement of health workers and introducing a unified license across East Africa! This will pave the way for greater collaboration, improved mobility, and enhanced healthcare delivery across our region.

The event was graced by the Chief Guest, PS for Health & Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni, and organized by the East African Community Secretariat, led by Stephen Niyonzima (Director Social Services EAC), Dr. Eric Nizigiyinana (Head of Health EAC), Andrew Kajeguka, and many more.

πŸ‘πŸ½ This is a huge step towards better healthcare integration in East Africa! Let’s continue supporting initiatives that empower health professionals and strengthen our healthcare systems.
